How My Matchmaking Service Works
This is a high-touch freelancer matchmaking experience built to save you hours of scrolling, second-guessing, and interviewing the wrong people. Here’s what you can expect:
Phase 1: Get Clear and Strategic
You’ll complete a focused intake that clarifies exactly what you need, not just tasks, but outcomes, communication style, and the kind of person who will actually be a well suited match in your business. After reviewing what you submit, I will turn that into a compelling job description designed to attract high-quality freelancers. I’ll also make sure to reach out to my trusted referrals, private connections, LinkedIn network and newsletter.
Phase 2: Filtering and Vetting
The last thing I want you to be doing is interviewing a bunch of people. I will handle the sorting, screening, and first-round interviews. Based on our conversations and the form you filled out, I assess skill, communication, professionalism, reliability, and that intangible “would I trust them in my own business?” factor.
From there, I narrow it down to a short list of 3 to 5 highly aligned candidates so that you are only seeing the best.
Phase 3: Decision and Launch
Once we have your finalists, I’ll run them by you to make sure we are on the same page. I coordinate the interviews between you and the candidates, as well as provide you with background details and prep materials so you walk into conversations confident and clear on what to ask.
You conduct the final interviews and choose your person. Voila!
But guess what? We’re not done yet. From there, I help keep the momentum going by ensuring a smooth transition into working together. You’re welcome to use my contract, or your own. I’ll help schedule a kickoff call as well…I want to make sure the relationship is set up for success from day one.
This process usually takes 1-4 months depending on the position, my schedule, freelancer schedules, and the client’s schedule.
